  • Do not walk under climbers; maintain safe distance – remain off the first matts unless climbing
  • For all climbers and visitors under 16, parental supervision is required.
  • Please ensure that your personal belongings are secure. ACG is not responsible for any personal property that is lost, damaged, or stolen in the gym.
  • Do not hang off the top of the wall, and do not attempt to climb up and over the wall. The climb finishes at the last hold of your colour.
  • No Food or drinks in the climbing area downstairs. Food and drinks may cause spills on floors and matts or grime buildup on holds.
  • Please do not climb if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Climbing under the influence increases the risks to yourself and others.
  • It’s advisable to warm up and stretch before starting your climb and to use chalk. This not only enhances performance but also minimizes the risk of injuries.
  • If using chalk, please opt for chalk balls or liquid chalk or avoid creating excessive chalk dust. Minimising airborne particles improves air quality and visibility for others.
